Max McLean, President of M. Farm Inc. and feedyard manager has an Associate Degree from UNSTA in Production Ag and became manager of McLean Feedyard in 1993. Max has plenty of experience feeding cattle, hogs and farmed with his dad Jim while growing up. He was a Cow-calf participant for the IRM cow-calf program at UNL giving him a special interest in direct ranch purchased calves. Max has served as president of the York County Cattlemen Association and is also a member of the National Cattlemen Assoc. Max is financial secretary and choir member of the Evangelical Free Church.

Jeanette McLean is the bookkeeper/secretary for McLean Feedyard. She has an Associate Degree in secretarial work and has been doing the computerized bookkeeping for M. Farm Inc. since 1986. In 1999, Max and Jeanette started McLean Beef to sell their produced beef at retail.

Lonnie Brown, pictured at right with his wife Keshia and his two children, Angel and Lane. Lonnie is the Animal Health Manager at McLean Feedyard. Lonnie grew up in the Red Cloud, Nebraska area. Lonnie has had a wide variety of experiences involving cattle and the cattle industry in general. He has also spent nnumerous hours on horseback riding pens, and also maintains the cow/calf herd. Before Lonnie came to M Farms he worked at a feedlot that housed 30,000 head. Lonnie is currently BQA Certified and has attended several cowboy colleges and seminars. He is the master of all trades here at M Farms!!

Barb Fehringer, bookkeeper/secretary has plenty of experience in the computers and accounting and grew up on a farm with livestock in York County. She has been working with M Farm Inc. since 1988.

Tacy Langemeier, interning assistant manager in marketing and advertising for McLean Beef and assistant secretary for McLean Feedyard. Tacy is a UNL student pursuing an Animal Science degree. She is using her creativity and outgoing personality to bring new clientele to McLean Beef. |

Char Mae McLean, assistant manager in marketing and advertising for McLean Beef. Char Mae is attending Nebraska Wesleyan University and is pursuing a bachelor degree in Business Administration. Char Mae's expertise is bringing new marketing and advertising ideas to McLean Beef.

Dan Crawford, graduated from UNL with a Bachelor in Diversified Agriculture. He works part-time in the feedlot and cow-calf operations. His expertise in breeding will improve the efficiency in our cow-calf program. Dan and his wife Tanya (McLean) enjoy fitting cattle and riding horses in their free time. |

Chance McLean, farm manager of M Farm Inc. Chance has been farming since he was able to walk which brings a lot of experience to McLean Feedyard. Chance attended Southeast Community College for 2 years and then graduated from Northwest Missouri State with a Bachelor in Agricultural Business. |
